Vodafone Egypt appears to have briefly listed Apple’s rumored iPhone Ultra on its website. The listing revealed a possible price of around $3,066 ahead of Apple’s upcoming iPhone launch.
The screenshot showed the device under the name “iPhone Ultra.” However, the phone was marked as unavailable.
The listing also included a “Notify Me” option. It showed a 12-month installment plan of roughly $255 per month.
iPhone Ultra Price Remains Unofficial
The Vodafone listing does not confirm Apple’s official pricing.
Smartphone prices in Egypt can be much higher than US prices. Taxes and import costs can raise the final price significantly.
Previous reports have suggested that Apple’s foldable iPhone could cost between $2,000 and $2,500 in international markets.
Apple has also not confirmed the “iPhone Ultra” name. However, recent reports have increasingly used the name for the company’s first foldable iPhone.
Apple’s First Foldable iPhone Could Arrive Soon
Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone at its September 9 event. The company may introduce the device alongside the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
Reuters has reported that the foldable iPhone could feature a screen similar in size to an iPad mini when fully opened.
Recent reports point to a book-style folding design. The device could feature a 7.8-inch internal display and a 5.5-inch outer screen.
Rumors also suggest an A20 chip and Apple’s C2 modem. The phone could also use Touch ID instead of Face ID.
Foldable iPhone May Have Limited Supply
Apple may not make the foldable iPhone widely available immediately after its announcement.
Some reports suggest that pre-orders could begin later than those for the iPhone 18 Pro models.
Initial supplies could also remain limited.
This would not be unusual for a first-generation foldable device. Apple may need time to increase production and meet demand.
Vodafone Listing Adds to iPhone Ultra Rumors
For now, the Vodafone Egypt listing provides another possible clue about Apple’s upcoming foldable phone.
The listing also suggests that the “iPhone Ultra” name could be used for the device.
However, Apple has not confirmed the name or price.
