Apple has officially scheduled its next major product event for September 9, 2026. The company will likely introduce the iPhone 18 Pro series and its first foldable iPhone.
The event will begin at 10 AM Pacific Time at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Apple will also livestream the keynote online.
Apple is promoting the event with the tagline “Surprise and Shine.” A glowing Apple logo accompanies the announcement, with light appearing to shine through it.
iPhone 18 Pro Series
Apple will likely unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at the event.
The new phones may retain the overall design language of the iPhone 17 Pro series. However, Apple could introduce several major hardware upgrades.
Rumors point to Apple’s new A20 Pro chipset and a smaller Dynamic Island. Apple may also improve cellular connectivity with a new in-house modem.
The company could upgrade the camera system as well. Rumors have also pointed to a variable-aperture main camera.

Apple’s First Foldable iPhone
Apple may make its biggest announcement with its long-awaited foldable iPhone. Reports widely refer to the device as the iPhone Ultra.
The device could use a book-style folding design. Rumors suggest it will feature an outer display of around 5.5 inches.
When opened, the phone could offer an inner screen measuring around 7.7 to 7.8 inches. Apple may use a 4:3 aspect ratio to create a more iPad-like experience.
Reports suggest Apple may place Touch ID inside the power button instead of using Face ID.
Apple could also design a new interface for the larger display. The software may offer improved multitasking and side-by-side app support.
The final product name remains unconfirmed. Apple could therefore choose a name other than iPhone Ultra.
