Changan has officially launched the Nevo Hunter REEV in Pakistan. The company describes it as the world’s first REEV 4×4 truck available in the local market.
The new pickup combines electric power with range-extender technology. It also offers 4×4 capability and SUV-like comfort.
Changan claims the Nevo Hunter can travel more than 900 kilometers on a combined range. Therefore, buyers can cover long distances without relying only on charging stations.
Engine and Performance
The Changan Nevo Hunter REEV uses a 2.0-liter turbo engine. It also features an all-wheel-drive system.
The pickup produces 322 horsepower and 529 Nm of torque. Moreover, it carries a 31.18 kWh battery.
Changan claims the vehicle can travel up to 131 kilometers on electric power under the NEDC cycle.
The fuel and electric systems work together to provide a claimed range of more than 900 kilometers. In addition, the pickup comes with a 70-liter fuel tank.
Dimensions and Drivetrain
The Nevo Hunter measures 5,380 mm in length. It is 1,980 mm wide and 1,920 mm high.
The pickup has a wheelbase of 3,180 mm. Its AWD system supports different driving conditions.
Drivers can choose from several standard modes. These include Eco, Comfort, Sport, Traction and Custom.
Meanwhile, Changan also offers dedicated off-road modes. These include Snow, Mud, Sand, Crawl, Towing and Off-road.
Interior Features
The Nevo Hunter REEV comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment display.
It also features a six-speaker audio system. In addition, buyers get 50W wireless charging.
Changan aims to combine pickup truck practicality with SUV-like comfort. As a result, the vehicle targets both daily driving and longer journeys.
Safety Equipment
The Pakistan-spec Nevo Hunter REEV includes six airbags.
Other safety features include electronic brakeforce distribution and an anti-lock braking system. The pickup also offers traction control.
Parking sensors can assist drivers during tight manoeuvres. Furthermore, a tire pressure monitoring system provides additional safety support.

Changan has introduced the Nevo Hunter REEV at Rs. 10,990,000.
The company has set the booking amount at Rs. 2,200,000.
