HARNAI: Eight miners became trapped after poisonous gas spread inside a coal mine in Harnai, Balochistan, ARY News reported on Sunday.
Rescue teams managed to bring out two trapped labourers in injured condition.
Officials shifted the injured miners to Shahrag Hospital for medical treatment.
Doctors provided initial medical aid at the Shahrag medical facility before referring both miners to a hospital in Quetta.
Six Miners Still Trapped
Six mine workers remain trapped inside the coal mine.
Police said rescue teams are working to bring them out safely.
The two injured miners rescued from the mine are natives of Swat, police said.
Authorities have not yet reported the condition of the six workers who remain trapped.

The Mine Workers Federation has previously warned about the rising number of fatal mining incidents.
The federation attributed the increase to weak enforcement of mine safety laws.
Rescue efforts for the six trapped miners are continuing.
