NADRA Explains How to Recover Forgotten Pak-ID App Password

ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has outlined a simple procedure for citizens who forget their Pak-ID password or cannot access the mobile application.

According to NADRA, users can restore access to their Pak-ID account by completing a few verification steps.

Enter CNIC Number

Open the Pak-ID app and enter your CNIC number on the login screen.

Next, select the “Forgot Password” option to begin the recovery process.

Enter Email Address

The app will ask for the email address registered with the account.

If you do not remember the registered email address, NADRA says you can enter a current and active email address and select “Go Ahead.”

Enter OTP

An OTP will then be sent to the email address provided by the user.

Enter the verification code in the Pak-ID app to continue.

Complete Biometric Verification

The next step requires biometric verification.

Follow the instructions provided by the app to complete the process.

Once the biometric verification is successful, users can create a new password and log back into their Pak-ID account.

NADRA has advised citizens to use an active email address and keep their login details secure to maintain uninterrupted access to the Pak-ID application.
