National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Pakistan has announced the rollout of a “Proof of Life Certificate” facility for pensioners.
The service is initially available to pensioners administered by the Controller General of Accounts and provincial Accounts General, including those receiving pensions from federal and provincial institutions.
It also covers pensioners from Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), as well as retired personnel of the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force.
Pensioners associated with NADRA and Radio Pakistan are also included in the first phase.
NADRA says the facility will be extended to pensioners from other institutions in phases.
