The tentative schedule for the upcoming Pakistan-England-Sri Lanka ODI tri-series has been finalized, with matches expected to be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore in October and November.
According to the proposed schedule, Rawalpindi will host the first three matches on October 18, 20 and 22. The series will then move to Lahore, where matches are scheduled for October 25, 27 and 29.
The final is tentatively scheduled for November 1 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The tri-series will provide Pakistan with valuable preparation ahead of its upcoming ODI World Cup 2027, while England and Sri Lanka will also use the competition to assess their squads in the 50-over format.
Pakistan has experience of playing tri-series recently, having featured in two T20I competitions in 2025.
The first was hosted by the Emirates Cricket Board and featured Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates. Pakistan defeated Afghanistan in the final on August 29, 2025, to lift the title.
Pakistan later hosted Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe in another T20I tri-series. The hosts defeated Sri Lanka in the final in Rawalpindi on November 29, 2025.
Pakistan won both tri-series and will now look to maintain that record when England and Sri Lanka visit for the ODI competition.
The schedule remains tentative and could be subject to changes before an official announcement
