Pakistani endurance athlete Fauzia Hemani-Madhani has completed her fourth full Ironman triathlon at Ironman Canada-Ottawa. She finished the 226.3-kilometre race in 15 hours, 23 minutes and 35 seconds.
KARACHI: Pakistani endurance athlete Fauzia Hemani-Madhani completed her fourth full Ironman triathlon at Ironman Canada-Ottawa, finishing the race in 15 hours, 23 minutes and 35 seconds.
Held in Ottawa, Ontario on August 2, the event drew around 3,000 athletes. Competitors took on a 3.8-kilometre swim, a 180-kilometre cycling course and a 42.2-kilometre marathon run, covering a combined 226.3 kilometres.
Hemani-Madhani completed the swimming leg in one hour and 45 minutes, followed by the cycling segment in seven hours and seven minutes. She then finished the marathon in six hours and 11 minutes. The course ran across the Ottawa River, along closed parkways and through urban routes before ending near Parliament Hill.
Based in Canada, Hemani-Madhani had previously completed full Ironman events in 2021, 2024 and 2025. She has also finished five Half-Ironman challenges.
