The Punjab Home Department has made digital inventory mandatory for all arms dealers across the province.
The department wants dealers to upload their existing stock and purchase and sale records by August 26.

All business arms licence (BAL) holders must register their firearm and ammunition stock.

Afterward, they must submit compliance reports to the Punjab Home Department.
Non-Compliance May Bring Penalties
The Home Department has warned dealers who fail to upload their inventory.
Authorities may take legal action against non-compliant businesses.
Under the applicable law, officials may suspend licences in such cases.
They may also seal businesses and impose fines for failing to register stock details.

Training Workshop Scheduled for August 24
The Home Department will also hold a training workshop for arms dealers.
The workshop will take place on August 24 at the Punjab Forensic Science Authority auditorium.
Dealers can learn how to use the online portal and its inventory module.
Furthermore, deputy commissioners’ offices across Punjab will provide online access to the workshop.
This will allow dealers in different districts to participate remotely.
