GTA 6 Gameplay Leaks Reveal Possible New Features Ahead of Rockstar Presentation
Two clips claiming to show Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay have appeared online. Images claiming to show the full Leonida map have also surfaced.
The material reportedly appeared online just days before Rockstar’s scheduled presentation. However, Rockstar has not confirmed that the footage is genuine. Therefore, the reported features should be treated as unverified.
Jason Appears in the Leaked Footage
Both clips reportedly feature Jason, one of GTA 6’s two main protagonists.
In one clip, Jason plays basketball outside his waterfront home. Another clip shows him involved in a road-rage incident after his vehicle hits a delivery truck.
Police then arrive as Jason attempts to escape.
The ordinary nature of these scenes has led to speculation that the footage may come from internal testing. However, its source and age remain unclear.
Rockstar has also reportedly issued DMCA notices to remove leaked material from the internet. That has added to speculation that the footage could be genuine.
Six-Star Wanted Level May Return
One of the most notable details involves an apparent six-star wanted level.
GTA 5 uses a maximum of five stars. Older GTA games used six stars, so the reported system could mark a return to that format.
The footage also appears to show police tracking information about Jason. This may include his clothing, appearance and vehicle.
If the system works as observers suggest, changing clothes or switching cars could help players escape police.
However, Rockstar has not confirmed these mechanics.

GTA 6 Could Offer More Stealth
Another interface element appears to show a stealth detection indicator.
The indicator seems to show how close police officers are to spotting Jason. This could suggest that players will have more ways to hide from law enforcement.
A stamina meter also appears during combat. The meter gradually decreases as Jason fights.
Vehicles May Include Fuel and Storage
The reported footage also appears to show a fuel meter for vehicles.
The interface reportedly displays both fuel and engine condition. This could mean players may need to monitor their vehicles more closely.
GTA 5 mods have added fuel systems in the past. However, fuel has not been a major mechanic in the main GTA games.
Vehicles also appear to feature storage and loadout slots. Players could potentially keep equipment inside their cars.
These features remain unconfirmed. Rockstar could also change or remove them before release.
Basketball and Character Stats
Jason reportedly plays basketball through a timing-based minigame.
Players appear to press a button when two indicators line up. Successful shots may increase a stat called Focus.
The exact purpose of Focus remains unclear.
Another symbol reportedly appears after violent actions. Some observers have linked it to a possible morality or reputation system.
There is not enough evidence to confirm that interpretation.

Both Protagonists May Appear on the Map
Images claiming to show the GTA 6 map have also surfaced online.
One interesting detail involves a vehicle marker carrying a “J”. The marker reportedly represents Jason while the player controls Lucia.
If accurate, this could allow players to see the other protagonist’s location without switching characters.
The alleged map also appears to feature several racetracks.
Jason’s home reportedly sits in the southern part of Leonida. Another location could represent a military facility or airport.
These locations remain unconfirmed.
Rockstar Plans an Official GTA 6 Presentation
Players may not have to rely on leaks for much longer.
Rockstar has officially announced Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look for August 27. The presentation will premiere on Netflix and YouTube.
The event could provide a much clearer look at the game’s gameplay and features.
According to the information provided, GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Until Rockstar confirms the leaked features, players should treat claims about the wanted system, fuel mechanics, stealth features and map details as unverified.
