KARACHI: Police have identified a man whose body was found inside a bag in Karachi’s Nazimabad area and arrested a suspect with the help of CCTV footage.
Police identified the deceased as Adnan and said the arrested suspect was Nisar, a native of Badin district who worked as a gardener at a nursery near KDA Chowrangi.
According to police, Adnan and Nisar worked at the same nursery and had been involved in a personal dispute for some time.
Police Suspect Personal Feud Behind Murder
Police said Adnan had tied Nisar with a rope and subjected him to physical torture two days before the killing.
Investigators allege that Nisar killed Adnan with a hammer in retaliation for the incident. He then placed the body inside a bag and discarded it, police said.
Authorities said CCTV footage helped them identify and arrest the suspect. Further investigation into the murder is underway.
