A Lahore sessions court has set August 18 to indict TikToker Rajab Butt and four others in a sexual assault case filed by a social media influencer. The complainant says she has submitted WhatsApp chats, a medical report and a Section 164 statement as evidence.
LAHORE: A sessions court in Lahore has fixed August 18 for the indictment of TikToker Rajab Butt and four other suspects in a sexual assault case filed by a social media influencer.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Zafaryab heard the private complaint on Tuesday and ordered all five suspects to appear before the court on the next hearing for framing of charges.
The complainant had moved the court in 2025, alleging that Butt and the other suspects sexually assaulted her and later blackmailed her. She told the court she had evidence to support her allegations, including WhatsApp conversations, a medical report and a statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The suspects have denied the allegations and had already obtained pre-arrest bail from a sessions court. Butt is also facing proceedings in other cases, including matters related to alleged blasphemy, promotion of online gambling and physical assault. Last month, Nawab Town police also registered a separate case against Butt and his accomplices over allegations of attacking women and opening fire during a dispute at a cafe, on the complaint of the same woman.
